Selection committee
Iggy Stooge – the second coolest punk rock stage name ever, after Crocus Behemoth – was abandoned by the great Iggy Pop following the first Stooges album. In September 2000, a group of distinguished punk rock scholars purchased the IggyStooge.com domain name with the intention of launching an international punk rock foundation focused on selecting great hardcore songs. A committee of seven experts, drawn from various professions, was formed following a thorough vetting process:
